REGENT PARADE 1. 5104 Hockley B1 Nos 14 and 16 SP 0687 NW 24/16 II GV 2. C1825-30 pair of houses built on right angle of street. 2 storeys red brick the corner turned with an inset one bay bow. Low hipped slate roof with eaves band. Plain band corniced chimney stacks, No 14 has front facing west with one window each floor, doorway to left and one window each floor to bowed corner. Revealed glazing bar sashes with stone sills and rubbed brick gauged flat arches. Similar gauged vermicular brick arch to doorway with contained flattened oval surround to panelled reveals and soffit, panelled door and radial glazed fanlight. Lower one bay wing of shopping to right. The front of No 16 faces north with stone plinth and 3 bays, the centre blind above doorway. Revealed glazing bar sashes with painted stone sills, rubbed brick arches. Same doorway as No 14 but retaining simple capital moulding to flattened oval surround, returned from doorhead across reveals. Lower 2 storey 4 bay works wing to left with moulded bed to flat eaves. Glazing bar sashes to first floor, segmented arched doorway and waggon archway on ground floor. Early jewellery quarter buildings.
