STOWE NINE CHURCHES CHURCH STOWE SP65NW 6/127 Coach house to Wyndham House GV II Coach house, now used as garage and workshop. C18. Coursed dressed limestone, roof facing road slate, old tiles to other slope, brick end stack. 2 storeys; 6-window range. Pair of double-leaf garage doors to centre flanked by 6-panel door with overlight to left, plank door with overlight to right. Wood mullion and transom windows to ground and first floors at either end. Windows and doors to ground floor have stone lintels and keyblocks. Blocked window above left door. 2 C20 windows above garage door. Window above right door partially blocked and with 2-light leaded casement. Quoins and stone coped gables with kneelers (coping and kneelers of ironstone). Single-storey lean-to extensions left and right. Interior altered C20 but retaining stop-chamfered spine beams. Included for group value.
