GV II
A row of 3 houses. Later C17, with C19 fronts. Timber-framed and rendered; Nos 94 and 95 roughcast. Roman tiles. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; no cellars, although the houses stand high. One end and one internal chimney-stack, each with a plain red brick shaft. No.93 has 2 windows to each storey, all small-paned 2-light casements in flush frames. No.94 has a single window to each storey, sashes with a single vertical glazing bar in a flush cased frame. No.95 has one 2-light casement window with a single bar to the 1st storey and a sliding sash to the ground storey. Entrance doors up steps, all in plain reveals, are C20 replacements. INTERIOR: No.94, which was originally one house with No.95. Few timbers exposed: one small main beam, set on edge; remains of a plain timber lintel; both wallplates, in the front wall with an edge-halved and bridled scarf. The dividing wall with No.93 is of lath and plaster construction.
