Public house. Circa early C19 with later C19 and C20 alterations. Flint rubble with brick dressings and Flemish bond brick front, the front and end wall white-washed. Pantile roof with brick caped gable ends and brick corbelled eaves. Brick stack at left gabled end.
Plan: 2-room plan 2-storey main building to left (north west) with a central entrance and single storey service wing at the rear of the left hand room. At the right end a coeval 2-room plan single storey range, also with a central entrance. Later in the C19 the rear wing was extended on its inner right hand side and a single storey outshut was built at the backs of the front range. In the late C20 the eaves at the rear of the right hand range were raised to increase the accommodation.
Exterior: 2 storey symmetrical 2-window main building to left with a central panelled door with a gabled wooden canopy on shaped brackets; 16-pane sashes, those on the ground floor are original but first floor sashes replaced with facsimilies. To the right the single storey symmetrical 2-window range with a C20 door at centre and flanking 16-pane sashes, that on the left is original and the right hand sash is a later facsimile. All the windows have C20 louvred shutters. At the rear a C19 2-light first floor casement with glazing bars, a brick single storey outshut and a single storey gable-ended wing to right. The single storey to left has raised eaves.
Interior: not inspected.
