YALDING TQ 74 NW Collier Street 4/85 Barn about 15 metres south- east of Martins Farmhouse GV II
Barn. C16, with later alterations. Timber framed. C19 front (east) lean-to red brick in Flemish bond. Rear elevation has exposed posts with brick infilling below midrail, weatherboarded above. Left gable end brick in Flemish bond below rail, exposed framing with arch-braced tie-beam and brick infilling above. Plain tile roof. 4 timber-framed bays, with midstrey to second bay from right. Hipped roof. Porch to front, rising from lean- to with boarded sides, hipped plain tile roof and boarded double doors. Low -double doors opposite, to rear. Interior: gunstock-jowled posts and arch-braced tie-beams. Common rafter roof with lapped collars. Later raked queen posts to side purlins below collars. Daub infilling above midrail to front. Tension braces to right gable end. C19 lean-to fronting road.
