4/40 Beachborough Park, East Wing, 29.12.66 (Formerly Listed as Beachborough)

GV II

North part of east wing of house. 1813 by Sir James Drake Brockman. Painted brick with slate roof. 2 storeys. West elevation: dentilled brick eaves cornice. Hipped roof. Broad projecting red and grey brick stack towards centre of west elevation. Irregular fenestration of 3 windows; one single-light casement to left (north) end and 2 recessed 12-pane sashes to right of-stack. 12-pane sashes in moulded architraves to east elevation. Door of 4 fielded panels in painted brick lean-to with slate roof to right end of west elevation. Wing formerly extended further to right (south) as part of an H-plan house, the central range of which was destroyed by fire in the 1950's. Interior not inspected. See also items 4/39 and 4/41.
