HOLLINGBOURNE BROAD STREET TQ 85 NW 1/125 1, 2 and 3 Pilgrims Cottages
GV II
House. Late C16 with late C19 addition. Timber framed. Ground floor rendered, first floor tile-hung. Plain tile roof. 2 storeys on rendered stone plinth. Continuous jetty. Roof hipped to right. projecting stack to left gable end, rendered below, buff brick above. Multiple brick ridge stack towards right end. Irregular fenestration of three 2-light casements. C20 boarded door to left of stack. C20 date plaque 1580 on jetty. Later C19 two-storey addition to right, red brick to ground floor, tile hung above, with plain tile roof. Small red brick stack, gabled cross-window and half-glazed door. Interior not inspected.
