II
House, now house pair. C16 or earlier, with later additions and alterations. Timber framed. Ground floor red brick, first floor tile- hung. Plain tile roof. Short main range of C16 or earlier, with cross-wing to right flush to front and slightly projecting to rear. Relatively short additions to left, (possibly a rebuilding), and right. Main range 1 1/2 storeys, rest 2 storeys. Left section gabled to left, with higher eaves and lower ridge than main range. Steeply- pitched roof to main range, gabled to left. Cross-wing roof hipped to front and rear, with higher eaves than main range. Right addition with higher eaves and lover ridge than cross-wing, and roof hipped to right. Projecting brick gable end stack to left and multiple red and grey brick stack to right end of left section. Brick ridge stack towards left end of right addition. Irregular fenestration of 5 casements; one three-light towards centre of left section, one three- light eaves dormer with hipped roof to main range, one three-light to cross-wing, and one three-light and one two-light to right addition. Ribbed door under lean-to canopy to left end of cross-wing, to Yeoman Cottage. Boarded door with rectangular lights towards centre of right addition, to Vine Cottage. Narrower parallel rear range with weatherboarded right gable end, to Vine Cottage. Interior not inspected.
