Village cross. Late C19. Red sandstone. Two stage calvary with chamfered plinth, square socket broached to an octagon, octagonal shaft with cross. Inscribed on socket Rest/1883/1897/-; 2 sides of first stage dated 1902 and 1882, others blank, and second stage dated 1915 only. Described in the former statutory list as being C15 in origin, the cross however appears to be entirely late C19. It occupies an important position in the village.
