2. Occupying a prominent corner site, picturesque turret at junction with Corporation Street. Late C19/early C20. 2 storey building in Baroque style. Colourwashed. Heavily moulded cornice with brackets and balustraded parapets to left and right elevations. Quoin pilasters with cartouches at eaves. Band over ground floor. Bay window at angle across corner is surmounted by an octagonal open turret with cornice and curved pyramidal roof. Openwork wrought-iron finial and weather-vane. Round headed arches with keystones. Floriated frieze at cornice level and large 3-light oriel at 1st floor level. 2 windows to left, and 2 plus 1 to right. All windows with architrave surrounds, pulvinated friezes and pediments to left and right. Sashes with some glazing bars. Ground floor has one large window with voluted keystone to left and right. Bull's eye window with swag further right. Entrance under angled oriel with shouldered architrave surround. Clock flanked by cartouches over door. Double wooden doors.

No 1A Billet Street, No 66 The County Hotel, the Brendon Bar and No "8¨ East Street, form an important group with the listed buildings in Cheapside, Fore Street and the Parade.
