Cottage, now used as a meeting place. C17, later alterations. Painted rubble, double Roman and pantile roof, central brick stack. Cross passage plan. Two storey frontage, 2:1 bays, C19 2 and 3-light casements except C20 casement to left of ground floor, those to first floor under the eaves. Door opening between the bays, plank door; further door opening to right, C19 four-panelled door. Interior on right side with first floor removed to ford a meeting hall; entrance to house from meeting hall through a doorway with a 4-centred head; left ground floor room with a ceiling with an axial beam, open fireplace with a 4-centred lintol. Primarily listed because of association with Hannah lore, who used it for a time as a school.
