Almshouses and adjoining master's house, wall and railings. Dated 1823, by Edward Staveley, Surveyor to the Nottingham Corporation. Restored mid C20. Painted stucco with hipped slate roofs with 2 octagonal and 4 lozenge-shaped rendered stacks. Plinth and moulded eaves cornice. All the openings have label moulds. 2 storeys; 5 window range. Windows are cast-iron casements with leaded panes and stained glass. Projecting central entrance bay has on the first floor an inscribed panel, and above it a roundel with a coat of arms and Latin motto. Below, a triple chamfered 4-centred arched doorway with traceried panelled door. On either side, two 3-light windows on each floor. To right, a short link to the master's house, at right angles to the main block. Facing the street, a single large 3-light window on each floor. The front has a central window flanked by single smaller windows. Below, an off-centre half-glazed door flanked to left by a 3-light window, and to right by a plain sash and a 2-light window. Outside, a short length of original boundary wall, stucco with wrought-iron railings and a square pier. The rear of the main block has a centre recessed between projecting wings, with a central inscribed tablet and regular fenestration.
