DITCHEAT CP WRAXALL ROAD (North side) ST6235 WRAXALL 16/106 Ringwell House - - II

Country villa, mid C19. Formerly rectory. Cut and squared lias, wide bracketed eaves, slate roof, later brick stacks except one original ashlar stack, freestone dressings Italianate. Two and 3-storeys, principal garden front to south of 1:1 bays, that to left stepped forward slightly under a front-facing gable, first floor band; 9-pane sash windows on first floor, freestone surrounds, that to left with a semi-circular head with radiating strapwork tracery; on ground floor larger sash windows with wide-set glazing bars, large single-storey ranted stone bay on left, blocking course. Left return in a conforming style. Entrance front on right return, large emphasised ashlar porch, semi-circular head openings, large to centre and smaller on each side, paired single-panelled doors, clear-glazed fanlight. Attached single-stormy coachhouse at rear, conforming though plainer style. Interior with coeval features including ornamental plasterwork, chimneypieces, window shutters, doors and staricase.
