Lodge to cemetery. 1856 by Wainwright and Heard. Coursed rubble, dressed stone detail, slate roof, brick stack on stone base to right, pair of octagonal ashlar stacks to rear. Gothic style. Single storey and attic, 3-bays, stone chamfered mullion windows of 3-lights to ground floor and 2-lights in gables above, each light having 4-centred head. left bay set forward slightly. Central depressed arch head doorway, chamfered stone surround, ribbed door, gabled porch of open timber framework on ashlar base. 3-hexagonal ashlar gate piers with pagodal finials in 3-stages to Waterloo Road. Original gates.
