Pair of attached houses. Mid C18, number 24 rebuilt mid C19 with later alterations. Coursed rubble to number 26, triple-Roman tile roof; random rubble to number 24, double-Roman tile roof; 3 brick ridge stacks. Formerly a symmetrical pair in a Classical style. 2 storeys, 4:2 bays, 12-pane sash windows to left in bolection-moulded stone architraves with pulvinated friezes, except fourth bay to first floor with a semi-circular arch head, emphasised keystone and imposts; 16-pane sash windows to right in renewed stone surrounds, secondary wooden lintel above ground floor openings; plain sill band to first floor windows of number 24, moulded string to heads of ground floor windows of number 26. Door opening to left in bolection-moulded stone surround, 6-panelled door, top 2 panels glazed, moulded slab hood on cut stone brackets, door opening to right in plain stone surround, C20 half glazed door.
