Gateway about 25 metres south west of Ash House, and south and west boundary walls

Gateway and boundary walls. Probably early C19. Ham stone ashlar; the wall about 1.5m high along Main Street and 2.5m high along Back Street, with thin angled copings; in south west corner the gateway, with square piers having flat cornice mould tops, no gates; on east side of gateway a curved sweep to furthers pier; the whole adds considerably to the setting of Ash House (q.v) and to the streetscene of the village, on an important corner site.
