Detached cottage. C17 origins. Ham stone coursed rubble, some ashlar dressings; thatched roof between stepped coped gables; brick end chimney stacks. Two storeys, three bays irregular fenestration. Mostly horizontal-bar casement windows; three-light later pattern bay one, with timber lintel below; two-light later pattern upper bay two and lower left bay three; to upper bay three later casements in earlier frame, and to lower bay three right a three-light ovolo-mould stone mullioned window with label; to lower bay two a boarded door with light cut in, set in plain opening, up seven steps.

In west gable a stone incised "TS 1754"; a two-light casement to first floor, and a C20 casement in former dorway below.
