Methodist church. Dated 1845. Local lias stone cut and squared, Ham stone dressings; Welsh slate roof behind coped gable, plain verges to rear. Single storey, front and side elevations 3 bays each. Tall Y-traceried windows with simple arched labels, the centre on south gable elevation being shorter, set over matching archway with pair 4-panelled doors and shaped solid panel with Y-tracery over; in gable a quatrefoil vent and a rectangular carved plaque with inscription "Wesleyan Chapel 1845". Plain windows to side schoolroom extension to rear. Interior not seen. Chapel on site of or close to, original house first licensed 1810; set well back from road, it is an important punctuation in the street scene. (VCH, Volume III, 1974).
