GV II

House on corner. Early C19. Local stone rendered, with dressings colourwashed; Welsh slate roof with plain gables, rounded hip to south east corner; brick chimney stacks. Three storeys, with one bay to Cow Square, one bay on curved corner, and 2 bays to north Street. Rendered pilaster strips; 16-pane sash windows to ground and first floor, 12-pane to second, those to bay 2 set on curve, all in toothed rendering dressed openings; between bays 3 and 4 a 2 panel door set into semi-circular arched recess under radial glazed fanlight, the surround having simple impost blocks; right of bay 4 another 2 panel door with rectangular fanlight over. Interior not seen. 1.5 metres from house on both street elevations boundary railings with alternate hoops and cast acanthus tops; double gates on corner and single gate opposite main door all to match, adding to setting of house, which is on a very important corner site.
