CRANBROOK BIDDENDEN ROAD TQ 33 NW (NORTH SIDE) 4/21 Three Chimneys 20.6.67 Public House GV II

Cottage, now public house. C16 with C18 alterations and extensions and C20 extension to the rear, (north east). Timber-framed and roughcast with exposed timber-framing on first floor to left of south front and on first floor of left- hand return front. Steep plain tiled hipped roof with lower half-hipped tiled roof over right-hand extension. Tall central ridge stack on main ridge to left and tall stack to left of extension. Two storey: irregular fenestration of 3 windows on first floor and 2 to right on ground floor, with very small windows to left of centre. Two boarded doors, one at left and one in centre. C20 extensions to rear. Interior: Much evidence of timber-framing. Large brick chimney breast with wooden bressummer.
