Details
TA 0339 BEVERLEY MINSTER MOORGATE (north side) 8/178 No 104 1.3.50 (Warton's Almshouses) GV II Rebuilt in 1774 by Sir Michael Warton. Two storeys in red brick with plain tile roof with moulded stone copings to gable ends. Boldly moulded brick cornice. Norwich Union Insurance sign. Plinth. Seven sliding sash windows with glazing bars. Two smaller intermediate windows on each floor symmetrically placed, gauged brick heads, heads to ground floor stuccoed, including rusticated head to main doorway. 4-panel door, the upper panels glazed, the lower panels louvred. Wrought iron guard rails to steps. Two storey wing to rear.
