Details
PATRINGTON ENHOLMES TA 32 SW 7/39 Laundry approximately 5 metres south of stable 1.10.86 block at Enholmes Farm GV II Laundry. 1849 for William Marshall. Brick with pantile roof. 2-room plan. 2 storeys. East side: 2 first-floor windows. 2 board doors with sigle 12- pane sliding sash to left; similar first-floor sashes. All ground floor openings with segmental arches. West side has central blocked door, single 12-pane sliding sashes to each floor. first-floor louvre to north side. Hipped roof with ridge stack to right, Separated by a passage from the south wing of the stable range (qv) and linked to the latter by a short wall with an arched doorway. Formerly used as laundry for the farm and nearby enholmes Hall. Disused at time of resurvey. Part of large early industrial farm. See item 7/35 for sources.
