3/7 Raventhorpe Farmhouse - - II

Farmhouse. C17 with C18 rear wing and mid Cl9 garden front to left. C19- C20 alterations. C17-C18 sections in limestone rubble, C19 section in brick, rendered throughout. Pantiles to C17-C18 section, slate elsewhere. Brick stacks. C17 section 2-cell lobby entrance plan. 2 storeys. Central part-glazed door under segmental arch, flanked by C19 2-light sashes. 3 C20 casements above, with smaller casement to left. Tall, steeply-pitched hipped roof, truncated by wing to left, with central stack. Gable end of wing to left has 2 sashes with glazing bars. Left return forms garden front: 2 storeys, 3 bays; symmetrical. C20 part-glazed door with plain fanlight beneath round-headed keyed stucco arch. 12-pane sashes with stucco cambered arches and cills. Stone coped gables, stepped kneelers, end- stacks. Interior: C17 section retains boxed-in beams and portions of pegged oak clasped-purlin roof.
