House. Early C16, extended and floored early C17 with C19 and C20 alterations. Timber frame. Part brick cased, plastered and weatherboarded. Tiled roofs. 2 bay open hall with 3 bay wing added to rear to form a T on-plan. Front: 2 storeys, C20 casements, exposed posts. Left gable end: ground floor C20 casement in brick, later jetty to weatherboarding. Right gable end: C18 external stack in ground floor lean-to addition. Ridge of C17 wing is slightly higher. Left return from hall: entrances to right and left. 2 ground floor 2-light casements in brick. First floor weatherboarded with 2 horizontal sliding sashes. Ridge stack between 2 bays nearest hall. Left end stack added. To rear of C17 wing: exposed posts on first floor. 2 glazing bar casements. Lean-to brick additions at rear gable end and to rear of C17 wing with slate and tile roofs. Interior: stop chamfered ground floor binding beams. Jowled posts with arched braces to cambered tie beams in hall. King strut to cambered collar beam, curved wind braces.
