Public House. Late C18. Painted brick. Hipped slate roof with T shaped ridge. 2 storeys. 4 window front. 2 left bays project slightly. Entrance 2nd bay from right: doorcase with ornament at angles of posts and lintel. Glazing bar sashes, first floor left with 16 panes, ground floor left and right with side lights. Cambered rubbed brick heads to windows.
Left return angle has rusticated quoins. Large ridge stack to left, smaller stack on rear pitch to right. Single storey flat roofed extension to right. Gabled extensions to rear right. Interior remodelled.
