Details
GOWDALL FIELD LANE SE 62 SW (west side) 2/15 Gowdall Broach Farmhouse GV II Farmhouse. Late C18 - early C19 with later alterations. Brown brick with Yorkshire slate roof. Double-depth plan with 2-room central-entrance east front. 2 storeys with attic, 3 bays; symmetrical. C20 glazed porch over panelled door and 2-pane overlight beneath cambered brick arch, flanked by 4-pane sashes in original flush wooden architraves with sills and cambered brick arches. Similar first-floor sashes beneath segmental arches. Yorkshire Fire Insurance Company plaque. Stepped eaves. Stone-coped gables with shaped kneelers. End stacks. 12-pane attic sliding sash to right gable in former door, small attic casement to left gable. Interior not investigated.
