2. Octagonal, 2-storey timber framed building of C16 appearance, with high pitched, pointed tiled roof. Plaster filling. Very heavy timbers, rather widely spaced, with tension braces. 1st floor windows 2-light casements, some with broad glazing bars, in flush, box frames. 2 similar, grond floor windows. Various extensions: Contemporary 2-storey North West extension, gabled, with high pitched, tiled roof, and weather-boarded ground floor on North East side. Tall, square, tapered, external chimney to North East. One-storey pent extension to South West, weatherboarded, under steep, tiled roof with visible rafter ends; with stepped rectangular, external chimney at South West corner. Later, pent extensions of 1 and 2 storeys under slated roofs, to East and West. Later, beamed ceiling and open fireplace to main, ground floor room.
