House, formerly a forge. Late C17 or early C18. C19-20 casing. Timber frame. Plastered ground floor. Weatherboarded upper floor. Plain tile gable end roof 2 storeys. 3 C20 glazing bar casements. C20 lean-to on left end. At right end is a 1 storey and attic bay, probably earlier than main part, with gabled eaves dormer. Interior shows central inglenook and attached C17 staircase. Right end has lower ceiling and exposed close studding. Good exposed joists to upper floor central bay.
