House. Late C16 origin with later additions and alterations. Stuccoed and roughcast a rear; front range with late C18/early C19 red brick casing. Timber frame interior. T plan. 2 storeys. The front has 4 glazing bar casements and 2 doors with porches, each having 2 slender Tuscan columns and thin hoods. Thin floorband. Sawtooth brick eaves. Broad ridge stack on left centre, beneath which are 2 large C16 rooms. These heightened late C17. Rear wing is early C17. Next addition was at N end of front range in early C18. Late C17 staircase inside. Small weatherboarded barn adjoins at W end of W range. (RCHM Typescript).
