House. c.1700, altered C19. Timber frame on brick base. Panelled pargetted rendering. Tiled roof. An L on plan with 3 bays to front. 2 storeys, cellar and attic. Tall brick plinth with cellar opening to right. Ground floor: steps up to central entrance, C19 pedimented architrave, flanking tripartite sashes in moulded flush frames, similar glazing bar sashes on first floor. Timber modillioned eaves cornice. End stacks, slightly extruded with offsets, attic casement to left, first floor casements to right over a weatherboarded lean-to outshut. To rear: mixed sashes and some original 3 light casements with thin ovolo moulded mullions, catslide roof over lean-to stair turret to centre. To rear right is original kitchen wing with some weatherboarding and a hip to rear, cross axial ridge stack, catslide roof over lean-to outshut on right end continuing from front. Interior: ovolo moulded axial bearers, C19 staircase. (RCHM Typescript).
