Barn. C17 re-using 2 C15 tie-beams. Timber frame on original flint sill wall with tile packing under sill-beam. C17 small brick replacement in English-bond at W end. Dark weatherboarding, wainy edged on N. Steep pitched roof of corrugated asbestos. A tall 3-bays barn with double doorway central on N and gabled projecting porch opposite on S, to yard. Jowled posts, long curved braces to wallplates and cambered tie-beams, and full-height studs. Face-halved bladed scarf in wallplate next post. Trusses with collars and single-clasped purlin to each slope. Struts below collar at gable-ends: inclined queen-struts to 2 open trusses flanking central bay. The eastern one has a steeply cambered tie-beam with double hollow-chamfer and mortices with 3 peg-holes for the moulded braces of the open truss of a domestic hall. Western one similar but double plain-chamfer and 2 peg-holes for brace.
