(west side) 3/2 Farmhouse at Bozen Green Farm (along track 1750m 24. 7.75 from Pelham Road)

Farmhouse. Late C17, extended in early C19, and c1980. Timber frame plastered with steep old red tile roof. Originally a 2- storeys and attic, 2 cell, lobby entry house facing S. E room (hall) on E and unheated parlour on W. Original rear lean-to outshut for service room and stair rebuilt c1980. In early C19 a chimneywas built to heat the parlour, and the west end extension of house and outshut built. Gabled rear wing c1980. House has 3 windows to each floor and entrance under hipped tiled porch between 1st and 2nd from E. 3-light narrow casement windows to upper floor. 2-light casements in same width of opening on ground floor. Axial beam in hall, chamfered with stops. Wide open fireplace, upper floor has C17 brick fireplace with 4- centred head and chamfered jambs. (RCHM Typescript). Clasped- purlin roof with high set purlins. Jowled posts. Ogee and bar stop to axial floor beam at E end. 3-light mullioned window exposed in former W gable, now blocked by C19 extension.
