House, now 2 houses. C17 or earlier, altered in C18. Timber frame plastered on stucco plinth, upper gable of rear wing weatherboarded. Steep old red tile roofs. T-plan, 2-storeys, house facing with large external lateral rear chimney to S part, rear corner chimney at N end and central chimney in rear wing. Symmetrical 4 windows E front with central door has casement windows on right, sash windows on left. 6-panel fielded door in moulded frame with entablature, swelled frieze and swept flashing to cornice. 6-panel, part glazed rear door and sash windows with margin lights in E half of rear wing. W half (No 10) has a plank door with drip board and 2-light cast iron casement windows in gable wall.
