PISHIOBURY DRIVE 1. 5253 (East End) Summer House and pump on SE corner of walled garden, Pishiobury Park TL 481 133:6/33 6.6.52 II GV 2. C16/C17. 30 ft square old red brick building, single storey with pyramid old red tile roof topped by square lantern. Irregular brick bonding. 3 centre arched doorway in middle of N side. Wide 3 centre arched opening on E side inserted in C19 with glazed screen now gone. Opening infilled in brick with double plank doors. Small doorway at S end of W wall cut through to walled garden. Projecting eaves with plastered soffit. Square lantern with pyramid-slate roof and metal fleur-de-lis finial. Roof and lantern appear to have been renewed in C18/C19. To S of summer house, C18/C19 cast iron pump. 3 raised rings on circular barrel, corbelled expansion to fluted chamber. Ornamental spout with palmettes at swept junction with chamber, floral bucket spur and decorated orifice. Bracket for handle but handle missing.
