II

House. Mid to late C18, extended early C19, altered C20. Red brick. Tiled roof. Extended in stock brick with slate roof. 3 bays with 1 bay addition to left. 2 storeys. Front elevation has 2 French windows to stuccoed ground floor screened by a C19 trellised timber verandah with a coved roof. Three first floor glazing bar sashes in reveals with gauged brick flat arched heads, 12 panes flanked by 16 panes. Dentilled brick eaves. Two C19 sashed gabled dormers. Stack to right front and original left end. C19 bay to left has a ground floor tripartite and first floor plain sash, flat arched heads. Boxed eaves. Lower hipped roof. Extruded stack on left return. Entrance in right return. Lower range extends to rear with ground floor lean-to outshuts. Interior not inspected. From 1744 to 1871 Sarratt Mill was producing paper. (W.
