Public house. C17 with early to mid C19 front range. Extended and altered C20. Timber frame to rear with brick nogging and casing. Extended in brick, colourwashed and rendered. Tiled roofs. Early core is 2 bay 1 storey and attic cross wing to rear left front bay of which is incorporated in C19 front range. Left return: ground floor brick with a 3 light casement, first floor exposed mid rail and studs, flat topped dormer. Originally external end stack where this wing meets C19 front range. Rendered lean-to to rear gable end which has 2 casements, weatherboarding in steeply pitched gable. Front range: 2 storeys, 2 windows. Central entrance with flanking early C20 canted bays with colonnette mullions to 3 light casements, all under a hipped tiled hood. 2 single glazing bar sashes with cambered heads on 1st floor. Right end stack. Sham timber framing in left gable. C20 1 storey outshuts on rendered end walls, that to right with a door in a reveal with a pilastered surround, small casements, hipped roof. Lean-to addition to rear right of front range. Interior: ground floor stop chamfered binding beam. First floor not inspected.
