House, now workshop and 2 shops. The rear wing of no. 6 High Street has been converted into a private dwelling, known as 3-4 Una Way. Early C17, altered in C19. Timber frame on brick sill with frame and brick infill exposed at S and rear (W) but covered by roughcast elsewhere. Steep old red tile roof. N gable cased in painted. brick over chamfered plinth with roof timbers exposed in gable. A long, 2 storeys range facing E with projecting shopfront to 6 and 8 at N part but domestic facade to 10 at S end. Lower timber framed brick cased, W rear wing to No. 6 with weatherboarded W gable. No. 10 has 2 windows to each floor and central door. 3-1 flush casements above canted bay windows linked under a tiled pentice roof. S gable has exposed jowled posts, mid rail and weatherboarded gable. Queen-strut clasped-purlin roof and rectangular framing of walls. Wattle and daub panel exposed at rear where out shut demolished.
