Farmhouse, now a private house. C16, timber frame red brick cased in C18/C19, E gable rebuilt in brick with canted bay window late C19. Timber frame cased in red brick on ground floor, exposed on 1st floor with brick infill. Steep old red tiled roofs. A 2-storeys and attic, 3 structural bays, 4 windows long house facing N with 2-light Yorkshire sliding casements on 1st floor and canted bay flanked by small windows on ground floor. Door into RH (W) bay with gabled hood and single storey W extension. Hipped dormer on S. Wide panelled framing to upper part with large chimney in LH (E) bay serving middle bay. Timber frame exposed inside with jowled posts to full height, straight tension braces in side and end walls and to central upright of cross partition dividing off W bay. Clasped purlin roof with collars. King strut in closed truss. Chamfered axial floor beams. Chamfered heavy stone jambs to large fire- place at E end of hall.
