Formerly two houses, now two houses (Nos. 33 and 35) and a shop (No. 37).

C17, south block c.1700, C19 shopfront to No. 37. Red brick, probably incorporating timber framing, with steep old red tile roofs. Hipped roofs to south block. A two-storeys and cellar, L-shaped building facing west, but more elaborate elevation of south block faces south. Nos. 33 and 35 comprise a three-unit, internal-chimney, lobby-entry plan house with chimney in No. 33 a third from north end. The red brick front has three windows to each floor with segmental arches and three-light casements. No. 33 has a four-panel half-glazed door in a moulded frame under a gabled trellis porch. No. 35 has a six-panel fielded door c.1700 with a wide moulded flat hood. Large central square chimney to No. 33. Tall formal south block has a contemporary rear service bay, deep semi-basement with bread ovens (lintel of cast iron in rear wall has 'KEMP AND SONS OVEN BUILDERS STEPNEY GREEN LONDON'), fine show front to south and narrow west end to street now with projecting C19 shopfront with fascia and central glazed door. Show front five windows wide with stucco plinth, moulded brick floor band, flat gauged arches to ground floor, rubbed brick red segmental arches with fluted stone keystones to first floor with blue brick between red brick window dressings and used as recessed blocking to central upper window. Flush box sashes with segmental heads on first floor and six/six panes. Former central door altered to a window. Two segmental headed cellar windows. Similar segmental arch and keystone upper window to west end with sash window. Rear part has cross windows to east with a large east external chimney. Eight-panel fielded door into south side up two steps under a flat hood on shaped brackets with rectangular, small-paned, oriel to right hand. Very large north rear wall chimney to south block has six flues, moulded capping, and projects into No.35.

The upper storey and attic above the shop at number 37 is a flying freehold forming part of number 35
