Details
RAMSGATE CAVENDISH STREET TR 3864 NW and TR 3865 SW (east side) 13 and 9/78 No. 23/25 (Cavendish Villas) and railed area GV II House pair, now offices. Circa 1840. Rendered with plain tiled roof. Double range plan. Two storeys and basement, with moulded cornice parapet and stacks to left, to centre right and to right. Four glazing bar sashes on first floor with cornices on brackets, and rendered moulded balconies, and 4 double hung sashes on ground-floor, also with cornices on brackets and balconies. Four glazing bar sashes in basement, with large area, with fleur-de-lys headed rails and urn finial principals. Left-return: door of 4 panels and rectangular fanlight with moulded consoles to cornice with sidelights to left and with small sash on first floor with Gothick pattern iron balconette. Right return: original doorway with cornice and sidelights and porch obscured by C20 porch and passage connecting to No. 21.
