Barn and cowhouse. Mid-C18 with mid-C19 and mid-C20 alterations. Brick on sandstone base with sandstone dressings; fishscale-tiled roof has gable end parapets with sandstone coping and kneelers. Six bays aligned north/south; wagon bay situated in fourth bay from north end and has opposed cart entries with cambered head on east side and altered C20 opening on west side. Header ventilation courses. Sandstone quoins at north end. East elevation has two openings (one blocked with inserted door), with cambered heads and moulded keyblocks and a 2-light window. North end has a loft door with a cambered head and moulded keyblock, and there is a blocked opening below. Cow house adjoins to north-east, has a hipped roof and is of roughly four bays; it has three windows with cambered heads and two loft openings in its south elevation and four doors with cambered heads in its north elevation. Despite some later alterations this barn is included as it has retained some unusual good quality sandstone detailing.
