The description shall be amended to read:
Barn, now house. C17 with mid-C19 alterations, converted late C20. Timber-framed with some brick infill, mostly weatherboarded, plain-tile roof. C20 stack. Single storey and attic. C20 porch to left. Six C20 windows. Stack and skylight. C20 rebuilt extensions on either end. C20 windows, French doors and skylights to rear. Interior: C20 partitions and stairs. Four framed bays aligned east/west; former wagon bay with cart entry second from east end. Framing: partly three panels from sill to wall-plate, long straight lower corner braces and some short straight braces in upper corners; collar and tie-beam trusses at ends with three struts to collar, V-strut above collar at east end and single strut to apex at west end; intermediate tie-beam trusses with raking struts; single tier of trenched purlins. Some C20 renewal. The house is situated close to the north wing of Upper Bean Hall (qv). Included for group value.

Barn and stable. Cl7 with mid-C19 alterations. Timber-framed with some brick infill, part weatherboarded, corrugated iron roof. Four framed bays aligned east/west; wagon bay with opposed cart entries second from east end. Framing: three panels from sill to wall-plate, long straight lower corner braces and some short: straight braces in upper corners; collar and tie-beam trusses at ends with three struts to collar, V-strut above collar at east end and single strut to apex at west end; intermediate tie-beam trusses with raking struts; single tier of trenched purlins. Stable adjoins west gable end; brick and plain tiled roof; two levels with cogged eaves cornice; 2-light window, rectangular light and door with cambered head in south elevation; external sandstone and brick steps at west end lead up to loft door and 3-light window; both have cambered heads. There is also a C19 single-bay brick addition adjoin- ing the east gable end of the barn. The barn and stable are situated close to the north wing of Upper Beanhall Farmhouse (qv). Included for group value.
