Details

STOKE EDITH CP STOKE EDITH SO 64 SW 3/184 Kitchen and offices formerly to west of Stoke House GV II Outbuildings, comprising kitchen and offices formerly flanking Stoke House destroyed by fire 1927. Largely early C18 with late C19 additions. Red brick with tiled roofs, rectangular blocks of two storeys with dentilled eaves cornice and square-headed windows with 2-light leaded casements. Inspection not possible at time of resurvey. Description based on distant view and published information (RCHM Vol II, p 173; Burke's and Savill's Guide to Country Houses, 1980, p 57).
