EWYAS HAROLD CP EWYAS HAROLD SO 32 NE 4/7 Bridge Farmhouse and adjoining barn 7.1.76 - II

Farmhouse and adjoining barn. C17 with mid- to late C19 minor alterations, now in ruinous condition. Timber-framed house with plastered and painted brick infilling. Roughcast to south-west front; Welsh slate roof. Timber- framed adjoining barn with roof material and infill now missing. Three-bay house aligned north-west/south-east with south-east gable-end stack and entrance to south-west front has 4-bay barn adjoining at north-west end and extending to south-west with former threshing floor entrance in penultimate bay to south-west. House: single storey and attic; gabled dormer with window now boarded (formerly with two small sashes); ground floor has one boarded 2-light casement window to left and large boarded window (formerly a tripartite sash window with no glazing bars) to right of doorway with slightly cambered head and 2-panel door. Interior inaccessible. Barn; three square panels from sill to wall plate, inclined strut trusses, two struts to collar with V-struts to south-west end.
