HOLME LACY CP - SO 53 SE 6/33 Pair of chest tombs and surrounding railings about 10 yards south of the easternmost window of the south aisle of the Church of St Cuthbert GV II Pair of chest tombs and surrounding railings: Probably c1835. Sandstone ashlar and cast iron. Austere with moulded bases and low hipped cappings. South tomb is for Elizabeth Smith Edwards, died 1827; the north one is illegible. Railings, about five feet high, have diagonally set bars and square corner posts with urn-finials.
