GV II
Farmhouse. Probably C18 with C19 alterations and extensions. Timber-frame with brick infill, sandstone rubble gables and extensions, brick stacks, tile and slate roofs. Two timber-framed bays extended in rubble by one bay. Two storeys. Rear elevation has two windows, C19 casements, the right side almost completely masked by a C19 lean-to with two windows, one either side of a ledged door. Frame is of thin scantling, generally four unequal panels high from cill to wall-plate. Forms a close upland farm group with the nearby barn (qv) and cider house and granary (qv).
