House. Possibly C17 with mid-C19 and C20 alterations and additions. Timber-framed, mainly with painted brick infill, some wattle-and-daub infill, sandstone plinth and south external stack, brick later additions, C20 tiled roof. Two framed bays aligned north-south, facing west with present entrance at northern end, C20 forward extension to entrance front giving lean-to with catslide roof. Large external stack to south gable end with later detached shaft, C19 brick stack to north gable end. Single storey and attic; two gabled dormers with two-light casement windows light attic, one four-light C20 casement window and one similar three-light window to ground floor to right of gabled porch with half-glazed outer door and C20 ledged inner door. Framing: largely complete and enclosed within later additions, originally three square panels from sill to wall-plate, V-struts in gable. C19 addition extends to east (rear).
