Farmhouse. C17, altered and extended late C18 or early C19 and C20. Timber-framed, sandstone plinth, painted brick infill, brick refacing and later additions, part roughcast render, tiled part hipped roofs. Irregular L-plan, main range rebuilt C18 aligned east/west with cross- wing at west end, further extension to north at east end with further cross-wing at north end aligned east/west; entrance in angle of wings; central axial stacks. Two storeys, attics and cellars, irregular fenestration, gable end of cross-wing to right with 2-light casement windows. Main range with further similar window and 4-pane window to left, three C20 windows in C20 alteration to section extending to north (at right angle) with three windows to left of ledged door; single storey and attic to second cross-wing to left with 4-light window to right of ledged door. Framing revealed in cross-wings to north and west, three square panels from sill to wall-plate with V-struts to gable of north cross-wing, six square panels from sill to wall-plate to west cross- wing with diagonal bracing from sill to main post.
