Farmhouse. C17 with late C17 or early C18 extension to west. Timber- framed with sandstone plinth, brick infill and part refacing, tiled roofs. Five framed bays aligned east/west facing south with south extending wing to west (former barn). Entrance to right of centre, larger external stack to east gable end and inserted axial stack to wing. Main house: two.storeys, six 2-light casement windows to first floor, two 3-light casement windows to left and one similar window to right of gabled porch with C20 door; single storey and attic to west wing with one gabled dormer with 3-light window to north end and 2-light casement window to right of ledged door. Framing largely complete, though roof of main house raised, giving four square panels from sill to wall-plate, three square panels to west wing.
