II
House. C17 with C19 additions and C20 alterations. Timber-framing with brick infill and shingle roof. T-plan. Two storeys. One-bay main range is of brick and appears to be entirely of C19 with C20 alterations. Doorway at right. The cross-wing, at the right, is of exposed timber-framing in irregular square panels. The framing of the front wall has been partly replaced in the mid-C20. It is of one bay and has long straight tension braces rising from the sill to the jowled heads of the principal posts. The exposed truss has vertical struts between tie-beam and collar, and a king strut with smaller collar above. Chimney stack projects from right-hand wall of wing.

Interior: not accessible at time of survey (May 1986) but main range said to contain no framing.
